Melodious Life

Melodious Life: frequently asked questions

What is Melodious Life?

Melodious Life is a companion for everyday wellbeing. It brings together daily rituals such as Morning Opening and Evening Closure, habit and time tracking, journals, affirmations and mindfulness practices, reflection worksheets, and a reader for the Melodious Life book. This site is the web version of the Melodious Life Android app.

Is Melodious Life medical advice?

No. Melodious Life is not medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. The diet, health and discomfort tools are personal logs and reference material only.

Where is my data stored?

Your entries are stored in your browser on the device you use. Nothing needs to leave the device for the app to work. Clearing your browser data removes local entries, so save a backup file from Backup & Restore if you want a safe copy.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use the app as a guest. Signing in is optional and is only used for features such as syncing your settings, where the site has that turned on.

Can I use it offline?

Once the app has loaded, you can install it and use most features without a connection. Features that call an online service, such as the AI App Guide, need internet access.

Which languages are supported?

English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. Each language keeps its own entries and reminders. The public pages on this site (features, FAQ and install) are in English.

What is the AI App Guide?

An optional assistant powered by Google Gemini that helps you find your way around the app. It only works after you add a Gemini API key of your own, and the rest of the app does not depend on it.

Can I move my data between the Android app and the browser?

The web app uses the same preference names and data formats as the Android app, so a zip backup or a settings file can move between the phone and the browser. Encrypted Android backups cannot be opened in the browser.

How do I install it on my phone or computer?

Open the site in your browser and use the browser’s install or add-to-home-screen option. Step-by-step instructions for Chrome, Edge and Safari are on the install page.

See all features or install the app.
